Trenzif Editorial Standards

Trenzif publishes news, stories, and perspectives for a digital audience. These standards guide how we prepare content for our website and social platforms.

Accuracy and sources

We aim to verify factual claims before publication and give readers enough context to understand where information comes from. We prefer identifiable, direct sources such as firsthand accounts, official records, and statements from the people or organizations involved.

A social media post, viral video, or allegation is not automatically a verified fact. When information cannot be independently confirmed, we make that uncertainty clear. We do not invent quotes, sources, events, or details.

Fairness and context

We distinguish between established facts, claims, and opinion. When a story includes a serious allegation about an identifiable person or organization, we seek their response where practical and accurately represent any response we receive.

Headlines, images, and social media captions should reflect the substance of a story without leaving out essential context.

News, opinion, and commercial content

News reports and opinion pieces serve different purposes. Opinion content should be identified as such and attributed to its author. Press releases and statements should be attributed to their source; publishing a statement does not mean Trenzif independently endorses every claim it contains.

Advertising and sponsored content must be clearly labeled. Payment for advertising does not give an advertiser control over independent editorial coverage.

Images and digital tools

Photos and videos should be described accurately. Illustrative or AI-generated visuals must not be presented as documentary evidence of a real event. If digital tools assist in preparing content, Trenzif remains responsible for checking the information before publication.

Accountability

We review credible concerns about our coverage and correct material factual errors. Readers can report an issue through our Contact page.
