A concerning case has emerged from a private hospital in Karachi’s Nazimabad area, where a father has alleged that his newborn could not be found after his wife underwent surgery for delivery.
Speaking about the incident, the father claimed that his wife had undergone regular check-ups and ultrasound examinations throughout her pregnancy. According to him, the ultrasounds showed the presence of the baby, and doctors did not inform the family of any complication during the pregnancy.
The father said the family proceeded with the delivery surgery based on the medical assessments and that they have the relevant medical records and reports. However, he alleged that after the operation, the family was unable to get a satisfactory explanation regarding the newborn.
The family is now demanding a transparent investigation into the matter and wants the hospital authorities to clarify what happened after the delivery. They have called for the complete facts to be established through the medical record, hospital documentation and other available evidence.
The allegations have raised serious questions, but the exact circumstances surrounding the case have yet to be independently established. Any responsibility or wrongdoing should be determined only after a proper investigation by the relevant authorities.
