Nadia Khan Fires Back at Saima Akram Chaudhry Amid Ongoing Sajal Aly Controversy

Pakistani television host Nadia Khan has responded to writer Saima Akram Chaudhry after the writer criticized her remarks about Sajal Aly and her performance in the drama Zanjeerain.

In a post shared on social media, Nadia Khan reacted to Saima Akram Chaudhry’s earlier suggestion that she should consult a psychiatrist. Responding with sarcasm, Nadia wrote that she followed the advice and was diagnosed with what she called “Truth Syndrome,” describing it as speaking freely and pointing out poor writing. She added that while there is “no cure” for her honesty, there is a way to avoid such criticism by writing better scripts and fixing production mistakes.

The exchange comes after Nadia Khan’s comments about Sajal Aly’s performance in Zanjeerain sparked widespread debate. Several members of Pakistan’s entertainment industry, including actress Maya Ali, publicly defended Sajal Aly and emphasized the importance of respecting artists and distinguishing between constructive criticism and mockery.

The ongoing dispute has generated significant discussion on social media, with fans and industry figures expressing mixed opinions. While some have supported Nadia Khan’s right to share her views, others believe criticism should remain respectful and avoid personal attacks.
