Indian actress Nushrratt Bharuccha has suffered a spinal fracture after an accident in Bali, Indonesia, where she had travelled for what her team described as a work-cum-holiday trip. The actress was initially admitted to a hospital in Bali and placed under medical observation.Â
According to an official statement issued by her team, doctors evaluated her injury and confirmed that she had suffered a fracture in her spine. Following further medical assessment, doctors decided that she would require spine surgery as part of her treatment.
Her team then arranged for Nushrratt to be transported from Bali to Mumbai by air ambulance so she could receive further treatment and undergo the planned surgery in India. Reports later confirmed that the actress had returned to Mumbai following the medical transfer.
After reaching Mumbai, Nushrratt was taken to a hospital for continued medical care. Videos from her arrival showed the actress being carefully moved on a stretcher from an ambulance, with family members and friends accompanying her during the transfer.
The exact circumstances of the Bali accident have not been publicly disclosed by the actress or her team. While the nature of her injury has now been confirmed, no detailed account of how the accident happened has been provided.
Her team has said that Nushrratt’s health and immediate medical care are the priority.
