Pakistani actress and social media personality Dananeer Mobeen has shared her thoughts on the ongoing storyline of Zaryab, played by Durefishan Saleem, in the drama Dar-e-Nijaat. Her light-hearted comments have added to the online conversation surrounding the character’s future.
Dananeer appeared to support the idea of Zaryab returning to her independent life at Harvard instead of allowing her relationship struggles to define her future. She jokingly summed up her feelings with the message, “No man is worth it.”
In a humorous take on the storyline, Dananeer said her sister believes Zaryab should go back to Harvard, start vlogging, casually flip her hair, become even more successful as an influencer and travel the world.
She added that, without the dramatic complications of the show, she would actually love to see Zaryab follow exactly that path. The comments reflect the growing fan interest in seeing Zaryab regain her confidence and independence.
The discussion comes as Dar-e-Nijaat continues to generate debate over Zaryab’s emotional journey after her painful experience with Zamil. Durefishan has previously explained that the story is not simply about a woman needing a man to heal, but also explores questions of redemption, forgiveness and the different expectations placed on men and women.
Romaisa Khan, who plays Hamna in the drama, also joined the light-hearted conversation. Dananeer joked that Romaisa would like her character Hamna to accompany Zaryab on this new journey, adding a fun twist to the discussion among the cast and viewers.
The comments have resonated with fans who are closely following Zaryab’s journey and debating what direction her character should take next. The drama, written by Umera Ahmed and directed by Saqib Khan, stars Durefishan Saleem, Sheheryar Munawar, Nameer Nawaz Khan and Romaisa Khan among others.
