Sohail Sameer Apologises to Public Over Viral Scene, Says Clip Is Nearly 10 Years Old

Pakistani actor Sohail Sameer has publicly apologised following criticism over an intimate scene that recently went viral on social media. The scene is from the short film “Doosri Aurat” and sparked strong reactions from viewers after the clip resurfaced online.

In his apology, Sameer clarified that the footage was recorded almost 10 years ago and belonged to an earlier period of his career. He said he had not expected an old project to resurface in this way and attract such widespread attention.

The actor expressed regret over participating in the scene and said that seeing the clip again made him reflect on how his family, including his mother, sisters and daughters, might feel if similar content involving a family member became public.

Sameer accepted responsibility for his past decision and said he was genuinely embarrassed and sorry. He also asked the public to forgive him and requested that people not judge his entire character based on one mistake from his past.

The viral clip had earlier triggered criticism and debate on social media, with users discussing the type of content being produced in Pakistan and questioning changing standards in the entertainment industry.
