Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the recent Houthi attacks targeting civilian and energy facilities in Saudi Arabia, describing the strikes as a “cowardly” act.
In a statement posted on X, the prime minister expressed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the people of the Kingdom.
Shehbaz Sharif said such attacks put innocent lives at risk and pose a serious threat to peace and security in the region. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm support for Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity.
The prime minister also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the attacks and reiterated Pakistan’s support for the Kingdom during the difficult situation.
