Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has married his longtime partner, model and influencer Georgina Rodríguez, in a private civil ceremony in Portugal.

Ronaldo appeared to confirm the marriage through a post on Instagram showing two hands wearing wedding rings, with one hand placed over the other. The post quickly attracted millions of likes and widespread attention from fans around the world.
Portuguese media reported that the couple got married on August 11 in the coastal town of Cascais, near Lisbon. Their five children were also reportedly present at the ceremony, making the occasion a special family celebration.
Ronaldo and Rodríguez have been together for around 10 years. The couple first met at a Gucci store in Madrid, where Rodríguez was working while Ronaldo was playing for Spanish club Real Madrid.
They announced their engagement on August 11, 2025. Rodríguez shared a picture of her engagement ring at the time and confirmed the news with a message expressing her commitment to Ronaldo for this life and beyond.
Ronaldo, widely regarded as one of football’s greatest players, has scored close to 1,000 goals during a career that has included Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, Al Nassr and the Portugal national team.
The Portuguese star has also made history at international level, recently appearing in his sixth FIFA World Cup. He shares the record for the most appearances in the men’s World Cup with Argentina captain Lionel Messi.
