Pakistani beauty queen Misbah Arshad has been crowned Miss Universe Pakistan 2026 and will represent the country at the 75th Miss Universe competition in Puerto Rico. She received the national title at a ceremony held in the Philippines on August 20.
Misbah, a psychology major at the University of Hagen in Germany, is no stranger to international pageantry. She previously represented Pakistan at Miss International 2023 in Japan and competed at Miss Supranational 2024 in Poland.
Her selection followed a final question-and-answer round in which Filipino singer and actor Bailey May asked her whether her 10-year-old self or her 80-year-old self would ask the more difficult question. Misbah chose her younger self, explaining that she would want to know how her life had turned out and what she had learned along the way.
Following her victory, former Miss Universe Pakistan Roma Riaz placed the crown on Misbah, while franchise owner Josh Yugen presented her with the official sash. Misbah described her pageant journey as a valuable experience filled with lessons, meaningful connections and personal growth.
Misbah will now begin preparations to represent Pakistan on the international stage at the Miss Universe 2026 competition in Puerto Rico. Her victory makes her the fourth woman to represent Pakistan under the Miss Universe Pakistan franchise.
