An old video featuring Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal and PML-N MPA Saqib Khan Chadhar has resurfaced on social media amid the ongoing dispute between the two. The video, which is being widely circulated online, appears to show Chadhar applying henna to Iqbal’s hands during a private gathering.
The resurfaced footage has attracted renewed attention because of the serious allegations exchanged between the actress and the politician in recent months. Iqbal had accused Chadhar of online harassment, cyberbullying, intimidation and threats, while Chadhar has denied the allegations and described their relationship as a close friendship that later ended.
According to Chadhar’s statement submitted to the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), he said that he and Iqbal met in 2020 and subsequently developed a close relationship. He also claimed that they travelled together and remained connected for several years.
The controversy has since moved into a legal and investigative process. The NCCIA registered a case against Chadhar following Iqbal’s complaint, and the agency later issued fresh notices to both parties after new digital evidence emerged. A special investigation team was formed to examine the evidence, with officials stressing that it would be premature to declare either party guilty or innocent before the inquiry is completed.
The latest circulation of the old video has therefore sparked fresh discussion online, with users revisiting the pair’s earlier relationship in light of their current dispute. However, the footage itself does not establish the truth of the allegations made by either side, and the claims remain subject to the ongoing investigation.
