Pakistani actor Ramsha Khan has been away from social media for several months, and recent comments by journalist Hassan Chaudhary have shed light on her decision to remain out of the public eye.
According to Hassan Chaudhary, who said he recently spoke directly with both Ramsha and her husband, actor Khushhal Khan, Ramsha told him that she no longer wanted to appear on camera or be seen on social media. He shared the details during a recent podcast and said she is doing well and is happy with her decision.
Ramsha reportedly deleted or deactivated her Instagram account after her reported marriage to Khushhal Khan in April. The couple had initially kept their relationship and marriage private, but alleged pictures from their nikkah were leaked online. The incident reportedly upset Ramsha, who criticised social media pages for sharing details of her private life for attention and engagement.
Her continued absence also became noticeable during her sister Alysha Khan’s wedding celebrations. Alysha shared several pictures and videos from the festivities, but fans struggled to spot Ramsha in the posts. This led to speculation among followers, with some even trying to identify a couple seen briefly in the background of one video. However, there has been no confirmation that the couple shown was Ramsha and Khushhal.
Ramsha’s absence has also led to speculation about her future in the entertainment industry and claims that she may be stepping away from acting. Hassan Chaudhary said, however, that taking a break from work was Ramsha’s own decision and that she had already indicated before her marriage that she was considering not working.
The journalist also rejected speculation about problems between Ramsha and Khushhal, saying Ramsha herself told him that everything was fine. He quoted her as saying that she simply did not want to be in front of cameras anymore.
Hassan Chaudhary urged fans, media outlets and social media users to respect Ramsha’s privacy and avoid using intrusive or unethical methods to obtain information about her personal life. He stressed that her decision to stay away from social media should be respected.
